PLUS University Debuts in London

Last week, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) brought PLUS University to London for the first time, marking an exciting milestone for the organization’s global educational initiatives. Hosted at 22 Bishopsgate, the two-day program welcomed 40 attendees representing a variety of roles and sectors across the insurance industry to learn from 15 experienced industry professionals.

PLUS University is designed for professionals with three years or less of experience and provides a foundational introduction to professional liability insurance concepts and disciplines through instructor-led sessions and practical industry insights. Attendees explored ten key topic areas, including professional liability fundamentals, commercial general liability, financial statement analysis, claims, reinsurance, D&O, EPL, fiduciary liability, healthcare professional liability, and cyber insurance.

Throughout the program, participants gained a deeper understanding of how professional liability insurance functions across multiple lines of coverage and learned how underwriting, claims, financial analysis, and risk management intersect in today’s evolving marketplace.

In addition to the educational sessions, attendees connected with peers, local volunteers, and instructors during a networking reception on Day 1, helping foster valuable industry relationships and conversations beyond the classroom.

Earn CE/CLE credit, receive a module waiver for Module 8: Directors and Officers Liability Insurance Introduction (a $75 value) while also checking off one of the requirements for the ExecPLP Designation.
