Professional Liability Underwriting Society Announces Robert Crocitto as the 2025 Founders Award Recipient

The Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) is delighted to announce that Robert Crocitto is the recipient of the 2025 PLUS Founders Award. The prestigious recognition will be presented as part of the 38th annual PLUS Conference during the opening general session featuring Nick Saban on November 10, at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. The annual national event provides an incomparable platform for industry professionals to come together, learn, and celebrate outstanding achievements in the professional liability insurance industry.

The PLUS Founders Award acknowledges an outstanding member of PLUS who has made lasting and remarkable contributions to the Society. Named in honor of PLUS Founder, Angelo J. Gioia, this award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication to PLUS and has significantly influenced the professional liability insurance landscape.

The selection process for the Founders Award considers various criteria, including active membership in PLUS, involvement in PLUS activities, creative problem-solving and innovation in addressing PLUS tasks, dedication of time and effort to the organization, promotion of PLUS within the industry and the public, contributions to enhancing the image of PLUS, and active participation in developing, implementing, improving and sustaining PLUS programs.

Rob has almost four decades of experience designing and placing all types of Management and Professional Liability Programs throughout the world. As ARC’s President, Rob works closely with CRC’s Management Team to implement and develop divisional strategic growth initiatives while also playing a major role in maintaining and growing relationships with all trading partners. Prior to being named ARC’s President in 2023, he served as ARC’s Chief Brokerage Officer, as well as spent twelve years at Frenkel & Co., Inc. Rob frequently speaks at various risk industry events, serves as a board advisor, was a past president of the PLUS Foundation, and is also an active board member for two other non-profit organizations on Staten Island.
