This session offers a comprehensive overview of professional liability, focusing on its evolution, fundamental concepts and insurance aspects. Together we will explore the sources of liability for professionals and key professional liability markets and discuss coverage and underwriting considerations. Attendees will leave this session equipped with essential knowledge and resources, setting them up with foundational knowledge of the professional liability insurance industry.

This session provides an in-depth examination of Commercial General Liability (CGL), covering fundamental concepts and specific policy coverages, provisions and conditions. We will highlight the necessity of excess and umbrella liability insurance in circumstances in which additional coverage may be required beyond basic CGL.

When should claims be reported? How should claims be managed? “All about Professional Liability Claims” provides participants with a deeper understanding of the foundation of professional liability claims. We will analyze key reporting concepts, claim management for specific professionals, and potential claims and litigation issues that may arise for professional liability claims.

Join us as we take a deep dive into the fundamentals of D&O Liability Insurance. This session will review the duties of directors and officers and the implications of these duties on D&O federal securities litigation and derivative claims. Through exploration of public corporation D&O policy insuring agreements and underwriting considerations, attendees will gain a better understanding of varying degrees of coverage provided by D&O policies and become more knowledgeable of the D & O marketplace history and where the market stands today.
